About Us

A Community-Led Effort for Our Regional Watersheds

The Chehalis Basin Fisheries Task Force (CBFTF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the populations of salmon, trout and steelhead within the Grays Harbor Basin. Our mission is to provide for the culture and supplementation of these vital fish species, ensuring the long-term health of our local ecosystem and supporting the community’s heritage.

Led by a dedicated CBFTF Board of directors representing various sectors—from the Upper Basin to the Lower Basin—we coordinate with state and local partners to manage the Satsop Springs Hatchery and multiple habitat restoration projects. Our team brings together diverse expertise in environmental science, local government, and community advocacy to restore the natural productivity of our regional watersheds.
